THIS SUMMER’S SPOTLIGHT ON:
david porter
David’s main concentration is contemporary landscape, achieving semi-abstracts to varying levels of representation composition. Inspiration comes from his many walks in the country. David applies blocks of vivid colour in such a way as to ‘suggest’ parts of the landscape he stimulates the onlooker’s imagination to interpret the landscape in a different way.
laura beardsell-moore
Inspired by life in the heart of rural Suffolk, Laura’s oil paintings explore the rhythms of the seasons and the passing of time. From cottage garden flowers and vegetable patches and focussing on documenting life in the countryside, Laura captures fleeting moments in a way that evokes lasting connections.
clare millen
Living on the edge of the Cambridgeshire Fens, Clare is visually anchored by the bold sweeping horizon lines that dominate and dissect her surroundings. She enjoys immersing herself fully in these wide, open spaces, allowing the experience to become less about the view and more about the emotional feeling it evokes.
